The time has arrived for me to share my time-honored recipes with the outside world. The recipes contained within this website are among my favorite or could possibly be considered among my favorites once they are prepared and passed my taste test.
The majority of the recipes were obtained, without permission, from the private recipe collection maintained by my wife. Obtaining these recipes was a mission unlike any mission I had ever undertaken, a mission so dangerous I felt the dark walls of terror surrounding me as I planned my attack upon my wife’s recipe collection. It took all the skilled military training I was taught, carefully executed, carefully executed reconnaissance, proper placement of listening devices and motion detectors and other advanced electronic devices to accomplish this dangerous but successful mission.
My wife and I enjoy trying new recipes (well, mostly my wife)! When Lois prepares a new recipe I let her know I enjoy the recipe by saying this is a “keeper”! I also know when my wife is experimenting by modifying an already perfect recipe she will look at me with her sparkling blue eyes and ask; well, what do you think? How does this taste? Did I leave anything out? Well guys this is like asking me do I need to lose weight. Or, does this dress look too tight? Be prepared guys! Have your answers prepared and rehearsed well in advance! When my wife of forty-three years asks this series of questions I know she’s done something new to one of my “keeper” recipes!
I wish to thank my family, friends from around the world, the public libraries, all the free magazines in the VA waiting rooms, newspapers and other media outlets and the many recipe sites and other resources which contributed to my wife’s recipe collection.

Please excuse the appearance of this page. It’s not difficult to see that this page is currently under some major construction. It is currently in the works of becoming something bigger and better. I am not happy with the current means of locating my recipes and I am trying out different approaches. If you have suggestions or ideas let me know here.
Individual Recipe Printing Suggestions
When printing from this website I recommend you copy the document into a word processing program and change the color of the font to black unless you want the colored text (I'm just trying to save your color ink a little). Feel free to print any recipe you like.
